Recommendation of go-to-market strategies, revenue models and methodology for approaching investors and other major stakeholders key to the successful rollout of the service on a national and worldwide scale. Advising on protection of intellectual property.

  • Tech and IP transfer, development and go-to-market strategy: Sounding-board and advisor to the CEO, guiding the commercialization of its novel, patented, fabric-based Faraday Cage. Advised on likely markets and products, generated design concepts and launch strategies. Identified likely integrators and market risk factors impactful to category development and consumer acceptance of the product line.

 
  • Social Media Planning and Implementation: Executive-level guidance on the adoption of social media to the terrestrial and satellitel radio industry and recommendations for rollout and management of interactive platforms for marketing, outreach, audience retention and growth.

  • Tech transfer: Assessed consumer applications of metallic-based fabrics, including the market factors required to create a natural demand for products incorporating them. Devised product concepts and mock-ups; recommended best paths to market; proposed prospective partner strategy.

  • Product development and sourcing, market positioning and and launch strategy: Working directly with the CEO in bringing to market a safety restraint harness for in-auto portable electronics and cargo that eventually made it into retailers and onto QVC. Advised on pricing and product sourcing, prototype development. Generated product roadmap and design concepts, rollout strategy and recommendations for alternative paths to market.

  • Market Development, Start-up Planning and Business Development: Advisor to the CEO of a first generation online retailer donating a share of profits to homeless causes. Developed the start-up business plan, financials and marcoms. Active support during fundraising rounds.
